We Grow by Helping People in Need

Founded in 2006, AVISU fights poverty in The Gambia by empowering women, youth, and marginalized communities. Through sustainable agriculture, micro-credit, and gender programs, we drive lasting change and foster self-reliance.

Our Mission

Our mission is to eradicate extreme poverty in The Gambia’s CRR by partnering with communities, women, youth, and local stakeholders to deliver sustainable development programs that enhance livelihoods and promote self-sufficiency.

Our Vision

We envision a future where the Central River Region is free from extreme poverty, with empowered communities, sustainable development, and equal opportunities for all, especially women and youth.
